Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has announced new dates for UP Police Constable Exam, UP Police Constable Exam will now be conducted on 23, 24, 25 and 30, 31 August. The examination will be conducted in 2 shifts. 5 lakh candidates will participate in every shift. More than 60 thousand posts are to be recruited through this examination. Admit cards for the exam can be issued 10 days before the exam.

The UP Police Constable examination was earlier conducted in February in which about 48 lakh candidates had participated, however, due to paper leak, this examination was canceled and the Chief Minister of the state Yogi Adityanath had assured to conduct the examination again in 6 months. With this, the UP government has notified the Uttar Pradesh Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Ordinance-2024 dated July 01, 2024 to stop paper leaks.
It has been provisioned in this Act that under this Act, acts like using unfair means in the examination, copying or causing copying, impersonating the question paper or disclosing it or conspiring to disclose it etc. fall in the category of crime, which Is punishable under this Act. In such cases, both fine can be up to one crore and punishment up to life imprisonment.
Candidates appearing in the examination will have the facility of free bus service of Uttar Pradesh Road Transport Corporation. Candidates can avail it as per their convenience.

UP Police Constable Re Exam Date 2024 Exam Pattern
The new dates of UP Police Constable exam have been announced today on 25th July, this exam will be conducted in 2 shifts on 23rd, 24th, 25th, 30th and 31st August. Through this examination, recruitment is to be done on 60,244 constable posts.
Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board had released the exam pattern for the exam on its official website.
150 questions will be asked in the exam which will be of 300 marks.
These questions will be on Hindi, General Knowledge, It will be related to Mathematics and Reasoning. Negative marking of 0.5 marks will also be done in the exam.
